International Conference on Demography and Economic Development
The Department of Economics and Development Studies of Covenant University holds her International Conference on Demography and Sustainable Development between July 14 and 16, 2014. The theme of the conference is: Demographic Change and Sustainable Development. The Venue is African Leadership Development Centre (ALDC), Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.
The conference aims to share and disseminate research evidences on current and future population impact on sustainable economic development especially as it relates to various ongoing developmental agendas. Lessons will be drawn from remarkable experience of East-Asian countries on rapid demographic change and economic growth. The Department is therefore inviting papers and posters that address empirical, theoretical and policy driven full papers for presentation at the conference.
