Brief Profile:   Francis Matambirofa is the Director of the African Languages Research Institute (ALRI) at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). He holds a D. Phil. in African Languages and Literature. He has taught language and culture courses at UZ since 1993. His research interests are in the areas of Bantu linguistics and culture, gender studies and computational lexicography.
