Brief Profile:   Audrey Thomas McCluskey is professor of African-American and African Diaspora Studies at Indiana University- Bloomington, and Director of Graduate Studies in the department. She holds adjunct appointments as professor of African Studies and American Studies. She served as Director of the Black Film Center/Archive for seven years--- 2000-2007, and more recently as Director of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center from 2007-2011. She was named a Carnegie Equity Scholar at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, S.A. in May, 2009, and was scholar in residence at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria and at Obafemi Awolowo University at Ife, Nigeria in June, 2009.
