GRFDT runs a non-resident fellowship programme focussing on migration governance and diaspora engagement with two key objectives:
Fellowships run upto 3 years and can be extended upon approval by the Executive Board. While the positions are not remunerated, fellows are an integral part of GRFDT’s operationalization. Their engagement is planned and monitored while receiving support from core members and network. Fellows may also be required to represent GRFDT in workshops, trainings as well as conferences. Fellows are encouraged to bring in innovative ideas that expand GRFDT work, support the growth of its networks. Fellows are encouraged to ensure an interdisciplinary approach within development and migration governance aligning with current global, regional, and transnational migration and diaspora issues.
Calls for fellowship are posted on GRFDT website.
