The ‘In Conversation With…’ Series is a thought-provoking and informative dialogue series organized by the Global Research Forum on Diaspora and Transnationalism (GRFDT). The series brings together renowned experts from various fields and disciplines to discuss and analyze diverse migration and diaspora-related issues. Through engaging conversations and interdisciplinary perspectives, the series aims to foster a deeper understanding of the complexities and nuances surrounding migration and diaspora discourse while highlighting potential solutions and promoting dialogue among diverse stakeholders.
Format
The dialogue series will consist of a set of interactive discussions, each focused on a specific theme or aspect related to migration trends and governance. The speakers will be drawn from a diverse range of fields, including academia, policy, civil society, industry, etc. They will include experts and practitioners with experience in regional, national, and global migration governance and its intersection with development and humanitarian spheres. The speakers, from different parts of the world, will be invited based on their expertise, experience, and ability to communicate their ideas effectively.
The interactive dialogue sessions will be conducted in English with an audience through a virtual platform (ZOOM).
