
Advancing dialogue requires experienced knowledge: Mr. Tomasz Kozlowski
The India-EU Cooperation Dialogue on Migration and Mobility, a tripartite dialogue was jointly organised by International Labour Organization (ILO), the European Union and International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) of Austria, which was held in New Delhi on 26th September 2017. In the opening remark, Mr. Tomasz Kozlowski, Ambassador of the European Union to India and Bhutan mentions that the event is a progress in India-EU cooperation since last summit in 2016. He situated the role of India in migration by presenting some important statistical figures. According To UN stats, in 2015, there were 1.2 million Indians in EU. Moreover, India hosts almost 5000 European. In 2016, 7500 visa for Schengen states were provided to Indian which comprises 37% of the total visas provided by EU. Out of these, maximum visas are for
