Brief Profile:   Amar Maske is currently working as a Research Supervisor at The Maharashtra Association of Anthropological Sciences, Centre for Health Research and Development (MAAS-CHRD), Pune, Maharashtra, India. He is also currently a PhD Research Scholar(External)under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciencesat theSymbiosis International University (SIU), Lavale, Pune. His broad area for PhD research is seasonal migration among Tribes in Maharashtra. He has completed his M. A. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai in 2009 and Bachelor of Social Work from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He taught at TISS, Tuljapur branch as a Teaching Associatefor two and half years and currently engaged in research at MAASsince last three and half years. He isinvolved in designing, planning, and undertaking academic and operational research studies on Leprosy, TB, Malaria and Malnutrition. His research interest includes tribal migration, tribal health and communicable diseases
